Wii Game Backup Device - LG 8163b

We have secured a limited stock of these almost impossible to source LG 8163b drives that makes ripping Wii games to your hard disk a breeze. With the use software like RawDump you can simply dump games to your PC hard disk without having to dismantle or connect your Wii to your PC with some of the clumsier methods of ripping Wii games.

The LG GDR-8163b is one of only four Wii drives that can read Wii Games. Other includes the LG GDR-8161b, GDR-8162b, and the GDR-8164b; however besides a barely neglible difference in the read speed they all do exactly the same thing. Once you have ripped your Wii game to hard disk (.iso aka image file) you can burn the Wii backup game with any DVD burner for example using the freely-distributed IMG Burn software.

Please note our current stock of LG GDR-8163b are in fact labeled HP GDR-8163b; but despite the HP branding are relabled LG drives and therefore identical in all ways to the LG product. This product is easily installed into your PC like any IDE / Parralel Hard Disk or DVD-ROM device.
